Good or Bad

What is good and what is bad? Who can define it? How can people judge someone else when they don't know the whole story (which is the case most of the times)?

I have pondered on these questions since long. I think it started back in college when everyone around us is not mature and there is plenty of room for misunderstanding. But what started then, has continued with me till date.

Whatever this life has shown me till date, it has only told me one thing - that everyone has his or her version of wright and wrong. What is right for one, can be wrong for someone else. I think something is nice, you might think its ugly. In a business transaction, the seller tries to extract as much profit as possible where as the buyer tries to buy at a cost as low as possible. Someone does not get something out of a relationship, so he/she looks for it elsewhere. Is that bad? Or is that good? How can I judge so that I don't commit the same mistake? And after all, why does it matter? We all know life is finite. Why not just have fun and let it end? Why all this BS?

After a lot of brainstorming, I came to an conclusion. Good is what makes you feel good. Bad is what makes you feel bad. Can you be feel good after making someone else feel bad? May be for that particular moment, but you will carry that bad energy ahead & ultimately you will not fed good. So ultimately, good is something that makes everyone happy rather then a single person.

Now not everyone knows this. Most of us keep on hunting for the basic needs of us & our families, so we hardly pay attention to the collective consciousness of the society. Hence our forefathers have laid out some rules that should be followed to decide what is good & what is bad. But as the mankind evolves & individual personnel become capable of taking mature decisions, the traditional boundaries of good & bad will full away.of course, we will still have to run a society, but the good & bad decisions will be informed decisions rather than blind beliefs on the religion & tradition.
