Multiple universes!

So I have already told you how we contribute to the concept of God. Let's look at another possibility which will sound no less than a science fiction!

You might have heard of possibility of multiple universes. Our earth is in a solar system, which is in turn in the milky way galaxy, which is in our Universe. There are son many universes , that there is a good possibility that these universes are copies of  each other with different turn of events. Now that combined with the fact that the galaxies are moving away from each other and  the size of the universe is increasing, makes me think that there are as many universes as many thoughts. Whenever you think of a possibility, there is actually a universe where it happens.

Now turning that idea the other way round, one can end up in different universe based on their thoughts. If your thoughts are good, you will go on living in a universe that is good. Probably that's  the reason our cultures teach us to do good, think good.

Who knows, when ultimately the expansion stops, these universes will begin to get destroyed. What finally will remain is the best universe...!

So my friends, we have limited time. If you want to end up in the best universe, start working on it now. Each and every thing you do will count in this journey. I don't know how it will be in that universe, but it's the last one, it's should be a good place to be in as compared to the others. May be that's what they call heaven...

Good or Bad

What is good and what is bad? Who can define it? How can people judge someone else when they don't know the whole story (which is the case most of the times)?

I have pondered on these questions since long. I think it started back in college when everyone around us is not mature and there is plenty of room for misunderstanding. But what started then, has continued with me till date.

Whatever this life has shown me till date, it has only told me one thing - that everyone has his or her version of wright and wrong. What is right for one, can be wrong for someone else. I think something is nice, you might think its ugly. In a business transaction, the seller tries to extract as much profit as possible where as the buyer tries to buy at a cost as low as possible. Someone does not get something out of a relationship, so he/she looks for it elsewhere. Is that bad? Or is that good? How can I judge so that I don't commit the same mistake? And after all, why does it matter? We all know life is finite. Why not just have fun and let it end? Why all this BS?

After a lot of brainstorming, I came to an conclusion. Good is what makes you feel good. Bad is what makes you feel bad. Can you be feel good after making someone else feel bad? May be for that particular moment, but you will carry that bad energy ahead & ultimately you will not fed good. So ultimately, good is something that makes everyone happy rather then a single person.

Now not everyone knows this. Most of us keep on hunting for the basic needs of us & our families, so we hardly pay attention to the collective consciousness of the society. Hence our forefathers have laid out some rules that should be followed to decide what is good & what is bad. But as the mankind evolves & individual personnel become capable of taking mature decisions, the traditional boundaries of good & bad will full away.of course, we will still have to run a society, but the good & bad decisions will be informed decisions rather than blind beliefs on the religion & tradition.

God and Me

So how do I relate to the God?

As human beings, we are capable of having positive and negative thoughts. I am not very sure about the other living beings, but I think they too have similar abilities considering many of them are living on this earth since much before that we do. I believe that the positive thoughts translate into positive energy (God) and negative thoughts into negative energy (Satan).

And here goes the boldest statement I have ever made - Whatever we do or think, contributes to these two polarities in the world, so effectively we - all the living beings - constitute God or Satan.

सोहं |

If we can rise up to a certain level, we can gain control (or maybe I should say 'share control') over other things in this world. And that's not for exhibition, its for a purpose.

Meaning: O Lord, let me hear good things. Let me see good things. While praising your glories, let my strong body be used for divine deeds in your name.

If you notice, most of the Sanskrit prayers have a फलश्रुती (a section that tells what you will get if you recite the prayer). When we recite this section, we strengthen the consciousness that something good will happen to anyone else who will recite the prayer. We also draw from the consciousness which has been strengthened because of so many other people.

At this point I also quote the famous line from the book The Alchemist: "when you want something, the universe conspires for it". I believe this to be true - all the living beings share a common consciousness, which actually decides what will happen to an individual and the universe as a whole.

Not that one always needs this support - one can also sail through solely just on his own energy. But similar to the birds in sky, who fly in a formation to reduce the cumulative effort by the flock, we can reach farther if we go together.

So to conclude, God worship for me is to keep thinking and doing good. That is how I will do my part for this world.

God

Who is God? Or what is God? I am sure one of these questions has come to everyone's mind at least once in a lifetime...

All the beings in this universe (and other universes, if proven) share a common thing - they are all made up of energy. That includes all human beings, animals, earth, the Sun, stars... pretty much everything that we can think of and then more. All the matter is manifestation of this energy. There is also some free energy like light, magnetic fields, dark energy etc.

But we use the word 'God' mostly together with words like good and bad, heaven and hell etc. I relate that with the two types of the active energy - positive and negative. All the good energies comprise of positive energy and all the bad energies comprise of negative energy. And then there is dead matter, which is neutral. It can go either ways, if influenced by either types of energies.

This positive energy can be thought of the God - or something that we are familiar with as 'God'. Consequently, the negative energy can be thought of as 'Satan'. And not surprisingly, we have heard many stories of either of them influencing dead material like stones/water/air.

Given the probability of occurring one event out of two equally probable events is half, I believe both of these energies are comparable to each other. Maybe not in this universe, where we still believe in good 'God', but when we sum them up in all the universes, they should be equal. If this is not true, it will be a partial world, and that is hardly possible. Hence at a given point of time in the fabric of time and space, God is what is prevalent at that particular point of time.

But to me, God comprises of both good and bad. It is what drives the balance between these two polarities. One such personality from Hindu mythology is Lord Shiva - he is worshiped by Asuras (demons) as well as Suras(angles). To me, God is in everything. And for me, there is a special way to worship him... which I will elaborate in my next post.

Start

Finally I started with this one. Stole some inspiration from Rohit... :)

If I am ever asked to speak on something, I think I will choose philosophy. Not that I have any in depth knowledge in this subject or I have done a lot of reading, but the very nature of it amazes me. May be I will write more on it.

Music is another subject I like to ponder about. There is immense energy in music. It can change lives, It can connect souls.

I also want to write about relationships... not sure how I should go about this one. If I write extra details, I fear I might reveal myself too much (which I am not very good at). But life has put me in some remarkable situations, when I really needed speak my mind out. Hopefully I find a correct way to express myself...
